Founded in 2019, Teach and Ball (as referred to as T.A.B) is a community organization with a focus on empowering the young generation by giving them access to the much needed resources. We support children, youth and families in the most under-resourced, marginalized communities in the Greater Toronto area, particularly in Malton. Through participation in year-round athletic, educational and mentorship programming and expanded opportunities, we will be able to bridge the gaps and give our children and youth the fundamental life skills needed to excel in society.
Our goal is to encourage and empower the future generation of children and youth through Mentorship, Education, Athletics, Mental Health and Diversity and Inclusion programs and services.
Our vision is to break down the barriers and teach the future to be the future by fully being immersed, integrated and engaged with our children and youth. We want our children and youth to flourish into adulthood. We want our children and youth to shoot for the stars. We believe that our children and youth have the power to achieve anything they desire with the right guidance, care and love.
As members rooted in the community with lived experience, our mission is to empower future generations, letting them know, they too, do not have to be products of the environment they came from but children and youth with purpose to achieve success in life.
Our core values are team work, dedication, hard work, consistency and community.
